ditto - large pics force me to scroll left-right

I know what you mean. Yes it has started with my also but only in the last few days. Maybe I need a larger monitor. I had to scroll to the right to find that funny face.

I have a 19" monitor, and don't have to scroll unless someone posts a huge image.

turn your res up on your control panel if it is at 800x600 then there is your problem, maybe a 1024x768 would be good for you, i use 1900x1200 and it doesnt do it, my graphics card work great. I have 1 EVGA GTX 280 that i just got. (traded in from 2 8800GT's) but yeah anyways, the bigger the res, the bigger the area on the screen too fill in.

It's your screen resolution. I'll assume you have 800x600. My Nokia N800 has 800x480, which is the same width, and I have to scroll to view this forum correctly. It's fine on my laptop and desktop, which are 1280x800 and 1440x900 respectively.

It is very likely that you can change your resolution to at least 1024x768. Give me your OS and version and I'll be able to help you.

No, they've changed the look and outstretched the column. It has nothing to do with images. They should change it back. It was easier to navigate before. Not everyone maximizes their browser window.

My settings are 1280 X 1024 and I still have to scroll to see the large pictures AND even for some links.

Sometimes I have to scroll - annoying.

And it has nothing to do with the size of your monitor. You could have a 48" HD whatever and still have to scroll. It's screen resolution - but I agree, shouldn't have to fool around just for this forum
