Metal Detecting - South Carolina Event - Great Results!!!

Hello everyone,
My wife and I are at the hotel getting ready to fly back to NYC.
I wanted to share my fabulous results from yesterday's Nugget Noggin Live Metal Detecting Event 2024.

There were 3 parts..

The first event was an hour hunt where we detect for tokens with a counterstamp number. I started a bit late because someone had mistakenly closed the gate to the entrance of the park so 3 other participants and myself couldn't get in on time.
I did find 1 token about 2 minutes after I started!

My prize was a display case with 6 old silver Canadian coins..



In the second event it was a Half Dollar hunt. There were also tokens and others coins mixed in such as Walking Halves and Silver Kennedy Halves. I didn't find anything to win a prize but got me a handful of modern Halves..


So the third event which is the silver hunt I did very good. I found 4 tokens and detected 34 different silver coins..



First prize - Brunt Boots


Second prize - 9 Barber Dimes in display case


Third Prize - Excalibur Detecting Shovel


Forth Prize - Garrett Apex Metal Detector
(2nd time I won an Apex) with Garret wireless headphones



I had a fabulous time even though it rained a few times which delayed the event schedule. I didn't get a picture with Michael Bennett aka Nugget Noggin but I did take one with another famous YouTuber Discovery Daisy..

Bet it cost a pretty penny to pack those wins on the plane, congrats!
